Close / Minimize / Maximize buttons

Jul 3, 2010 at 1:11 AM
How can I enable the control to have the close/minimize/maximize buttons just like in demo app ? After drawing the control onto form these are not present as well as the toolbar is not movable. I can't find the documentation either. If someone could send it to me that would be great :) Thanks in advance, Bruno

You need to subclass your form from RibbonForm and then just add a tab and a panel.  It should work fine, I had the same issue.

I have the same problem.

@bigblowndog: the "effect" described above has place in a form already subclassed so your answer didn't help at all.

Hello everybody - i have the solution!

Say you have a form named form1

open form1.designer.vb

change this:

Inherits System.Windows.Forms.Form

to this:

Inherits System.Windows.Forms.RibbonForm

Congrats! It worked!
Please give me a five if it helped you.
